Network Coverage

How can I tell if I'm in coverage?
In the top right corner of the home screen there is a icon with bars.

What factors affect coverage?
Your MOTO Q uses radio frequencies so coverage is affected by anything that could interfere with radio waves. Typically, you get better coverage outside of a building than inside.

Is there anything I can do to ensure I get the best coverage available?
The MOTO Q has an internal antenna so it is imperative that you use it when you are in spotty coverage in a manner that maximizes the antenna's surface area. The best manner to do this is to have the phone at a vertical angle and to use a hands-free earbud so that your hand is not blocking the antenna. It is recommended that you update the PRL by dialing *22891 every 3 months.
