Activating
Service
Once my phone arrives, is there any set-up
required?
Yes. You will need to call our Activation
Center at 877-SMPL-MOB (877-767-5662). We
will activate your phone and have you follow
up by simply dialing *22890. If you are transferring
an existing phone number, this will take an
additional step. This step is optional and
is only relevant if you have an existing phone
number that you would like to move to your
new MOTO Q.
If you are transferring your existing mobile
number to Deltacom, you should maintain access
to both your old phone and your new Deltacom
phone until the transfer is complete.
You may not be able to immediately receive
calls on your new phone until the transfer
process is complete (this includes return
calls from 911 personnel).
Optional:
You should call your previous provider once
you have confirmation from Deltacom that your
transfer is complete and you have successfully
made and received phone calls from your new
phone. Confirm they have terminated your account
and request a final bill. This step may save
you from potential billing disputes with your
previous provider.

Coverage
How can I tell if I'm
in coverage?
In the top right corner of the home screen
there is a icon with bars.
What factors affect
coverage?
Your MOTO Q uses radio frequencies so coverage
is affected by anything that could interfere
with radio waves. Typically, you get better
coverage outside of a building than inside.
Is there anything
I can do to ensure I get the best coverage
available?
The MOTO Q has an internal antenna so it is
imperative that you use it when you are in
spotty coverage in a manner that maximizes
the antenna's surface area. The best manner
to do this is to have the phone at a vertical
angle and to use a hands-free earbud so that
your hand is not blocking the antenna. It
is recommended that you update the PRL by
dialing *22891 every 3 months.
