Branch Executive: Jeremy Timco
The local Deltacom branch was a Golden Hard Hat Sponsor of the
Work on Wilmington (WOW) service organization. On April 17, 2010, Deltacom employees volunteered on WOW Day, dedicated to community events, by painting the Brigade Boys and Girls Club Teen Center. This was a first step in the “Teen Center Home Makeover” project. After a full day of work, volunteers were acknowledged at Celebration in the Park.
Deltacom sponsored the Tri-Span 10K at Water
Street with Sea Comm Media to support the local YMCA on
July 12, 2010. Our announcements were aired on
Wilmington’s “Big Talker FM” and “The Bone” radio
stations. Deltacom will be a Cape
Fear Area Champion Sponsor at the Campaign Kickoff for
United Way on September 1, 2010
The local branch is a proud member of the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. The chamber was pleased to announce Wilmington’s ranking of 13th in Forbes magazine’s “Best Places for Business and Careers.”
